This is the largest annual charity fundraising event organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women's Association (DCWA), with the participation of nearly 50 foreign diplomatic missions in India.

The stalls at the bazaar displayed various products from consumer goods such as clothing, footwear and household appliances, to art handicrafts, interior decorations, furniture and specific dishes of countries.

The Vietnamese Embassy introduced many products related to the national identity such as palm leaf conical hat, instant coffee and traditional dishes such as spring roll and noodle soup.

Speaking at the bazaar, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau stressed that the Vietnamese Embassy had attended the International Bazaar for many years, thus contributing to promoting the culture and image of Vietnam to international friends. He hoped that in the coming year, the Vietnamese diplomatic mission would not only promote Vietnam’s cuisine, but also introduce its famous tourism destinations.

The International Bazaar 2018 attracted a large number of visitors. A majority of the proceeds from this event will be donated to charitable activities such as building and upgrading health centres, playgrounds for children and Centres for disabled children of DCWA./.
