Vietnam joins fair on cultural tourism in Bulgaria

The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Department of Tourism of the city of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA) and the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators & Travel Agents (ABTTA).

The event was participated in by more than 70 exhibitors, including embassies in Bulgaria, non-governmental organizations, cities and large museums of Bulgaria, and other travel companies.

At this fair, in addition to documents such as Vietnam’s magazines, official special issues for tourism promotion, distributed free of charge, the Vietnamese Embassy also screened video clips and directly introduced to visitors Vietnam’s country, people, culture, cuisine and tourist attractions.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Stella Baltova visited Vietnam’s kiosk and wished Vietnam to continue to reap successes in the development of the country in general and tourism development in particular.

Travel agents, representatives of cities and embassies of many countries also visited Vietnam’s kiosk and learned about tourism opportunities to Vietnam.

In addition to activities at the fair, the Vietnamese Embassy had a meeting with leaders of the People’s Council of the city of Veliko Tarnovo to promote the signing of an agreement on establishment of friendly and cooperative relations between the two ancient capitals of Bungaria’s Veliko Tarnovo and Vietnam’s Hue city.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of intimacy and mutual understanding. A representative from the People’s Council of Veliko Tarnovo city promised that they would plan to send a high-level delegation of the city to visit Vietnam to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and Friendship between the two cities in the coming time./.
