Vietnam participates in charity bazaar in Ukraine

The 25th charity bazaar was recently organized by the International Women's Club of Kyiv in Ukrainian capital Kiev.

The event was participated in by 42 Embassies and international organizations based in the country.

The charity fair aimed to raise funds to help improve lives of women, children, the elderly and the disabled in difficult circumstance in Ukraine. All proceeds from the bazaar will support charitable activities.

In addition, the bazaar is also an opportunity for the diplomatic corps in Kiev to promote cultural exchanges among countries having embassies in Ukraine, tightening relations between the countries and the host country.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine has actively participated in recent charity bazaars to show the spirit of unity and ease the difficulties of Ukrainian people, especially disabled children and the elderly.

Moreover, the charity bazaar is also an opportunity for Vietnam to introduce and promote the land, people, culture and goods of Vietnam to international friends, thereby expanding cultural exchange, and the development of trade and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and other countries.

This year, Vietnam’s booth was beautifully displayed diverse goods such as tropical agricultural and pharmaceutical products, souvenirs and cuisine.

The International Women's Club of Kyiv was established in 1992 by female diplomats in Kiev, and it now has nearly 200 members./.
