Vietnam participates in international charity bazaar in India

An annual international charity bazaar was organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women's Union at Ashok Hotel in New Delhi, India, on December 3rd with the participation of representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations in New Delhi.

Apart from raising funds for charity, the bazaar was also an opportunity to introduce and promote the image of the land, people, handicraft and culinary culture of countries.

At the bazaar, Vietnam's booth was decorated impressively with the red flag with yellow star, and introduced various handicraft products such as lacquer painting, embroidery painting of countryside landscapes of Vietnam, palm-leaf conical hats, rattan products, handmade toys, shirts and coffee, attracting many visitors to visit and purchase.

Visitors were particularly interested in two special dishes of noodle soup (pho) and spring rolls, prepared by officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy.

Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh visited the booth and directly introduced unique traditional products of Vietnam to visitors./.
