The ASEAN Food Fair and partners 2018 was organized by the ASEAN Secretariat in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta on April 10th in order to strengthen cultural exchange among countries and raise funds to support poor children.

The event was participated in by 10 ASEAN member nations and its partners of Canada, the Republic of Korea, Australia, Russia, China, New Zealand, India, the US, Japan and the European Union.
At the fair, each participating nation introduced its traditional dish at a preferential price.
The Vietnamese Embassy introduced “Pho”, which attracted special attention from officials and visitors.
Mr. Lee Yoong Yoong, Director of the Community Affairs Directorate of the ASEAN Secretariat, said that the fair would help people from ASEAN members and its partners to have opportunity for cultural and cuisine exchanges, as well as increase people - to - people exchange./.
