Vietnamese Ambassador pays tribute to US President George H. W. Bush

Representing the Government of Vietnam, Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc and the diplomatic delegation attended the funeral ceremony for US President George H.W. Bush, held in the Capitol building in Washington DC.

On the same day, he also visited the US State Department to write in the funeral book to commemorate President George H.W. Bush.

In the funeral book, the ambassador wrote that the government and people of Vietnam were deeply saddened at the passing of the 41st President George H.W. Bush.

On behalf of the government and people of Vietnam, Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc sent condolences to the government and people of the US, especially to the family of President George H.W. Bush.

Mr. Ha Kim Ngoc also expressed Vietnam’s high appreciation for the long-term strategic vision and decisive leadership of President H.W. Bush. He helped lay a solid foundation for the normalization of relations and later the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the US./.
