Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary meets executive board of overseas Vietnamese Association

On behalf of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Hungary, Chairman Vu Duc Duong and leaders of the association reported on the situation of the overseas Vietnamese community in Hungary, difficulties and challenges in life, business and integration into the local society of the community.

The leaders of the association also reported on the organization structure and operation of the association over the past time, and orientation in the new term after the 2^nd congress of the association was held in October 2017, one of the important events the association organized after 10 years since the first congress.

The executive board hoped that it will continue to receive the attention and support of the embassy to gain more success.

The ambassador was pleased to see that the overseas Vietnamese in Hungary have a sustainable life, good integration and positive contribution to the local society, and always look toward the homeland as well.

He said that the Hungarian President highly appreciated the contribution of the overseas Vietnamese community in Hungary, and confirmed that the state and government of Hungary will support the overseas Vietnamese community to better integrate into the local society, as well as be a bridge in the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Ambassador Thuc stated the consistent policy of the Party and State of Vietnam, that always considers overseas Vietnamese, including Vietnamese in Hungary, is an integral part of the Vietnamese people, and an important source for the socio-economic development of the country.

He also affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary will always support and accompany the overseas Vietnamese Association in the country to help the overseas Vietnamese be unified to overcome difficulties to sustain their life, better integrate into the local society, look toward the homeland and make practical contributions to the development of the nation./.
