Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia receives Acting Rector of School No. 14 named President Ho Chi Minh

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia Doan Thi Huong received Mr. E. Gungaajav, Acting Rector of School No. 14 named President Ho Chi Minh, at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia on February 13th.

Mr. E. Gungaajav expressed his pleasure to be appointed as an Acting Rector of the school named President Ho Chi Minh, the leader of the Vietnamese nation, world cultural celebrity and a close friend of the Mongolian people.

"This is an honour and a great responsibility to continue promoting the teaching and learning tradition of the school named President Ho Chi Minh, to become one of the top schools in the capital Ulan Bator,” he emphasized.

“The school has a statue of President Ho Chi Minh placed on its campus and has President Ho Chi Minh's traditional room. This is a favorable condition to help the students of the school to learn about the life and career of the President, and about the country and people of Vietnam, contributing to promoting cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Mongolia," he added.

The rector expressed his desire to continue receiving support from the embassy for activities marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the school, to be held in September 2019.

During the meeting, Ambassador Huong hoped that Mr. E. Gungaajav would continue to lead the school to make more achievements; promote traditions and achievements over the past years, and continue to make effective contributions to build the Mongolia – Vietnam friendship.

Appreciating the school's initiative in coordinating to organize activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Mongolia - Vietnam relations in 2019, the Ambassador said that a book, photo and painting exhibition on the revolutionary life and career of President Ho Chi Minh will be held on the occasion of his 129th birthday.

She said that activities to mark the 70th anniversary of the school have great significance and the embassy will offer positive support so the activities will gain the highest results./.
