Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia meets overseas Vietnamese

Speaking at the meeting, the Ambassador sent best wishes to the overseas Vietnamese community in Slovakia and wished them a healthy, happy and successful new year.

He hoped that the leaders of associations and organizations, and all members of the community of overseas Vietnamese in Slovakia, will accompany the embassy, support each other to preserve the culture, language and identity of the nation, and join hands to build a strong and wealthy Vietnam. Mr Minh also expected that the overseas Vietnamese community continue to be a bridge to promote the traditional friendly relationship between Vietnam and Slovakia.

The leaders of the overseas Vietnamese community in Slovakia thanked the Ambassador and staff of the embassy, and confirmed their efforts to build a strong overseas Vietnamese community, which always looks toward the homeland.

The Embassy introduced a video clip about activities of the agency and the community in 2017.  In addition, the participants enjoyed traditional dishes of the nation in a warm atmosphere./.
