Vietnamese Ambassador to US extends congratulations on Lao traditional New Year Festival

The Vietnamese Ambassador wished the Lao diplomat and his staff a new year of health, happiness and success.

The two ambassadors affirmed that they would continue the close cooperation between the two embassies, contributing to strengthening the friendship and solidarity between the two countries, especially in the "Vietnam-Laos Friendship Year", marking the 55^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos; continue to effectively cooperate with the embassies of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries in the US in relations with the country, as well as marking the 40th anniversary of ASEAN-US relations and 50 years since ASEAN establishment.

Ambassador Mai Sayvongs and his spouse carried out the ceremony of "water spraying" for Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh and his spouse and the staff under their traditional rituals to wish for a new year of happiness, good luck and success./.
