Vietnamese citizens stranded in Australia, New Zealand to be brought home

As many as 343 Vietnamese citizens currently stuck in Australia and New Zealand due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak are scheduled to be brought home on June 1st.

The special flight will be arranged thanks to efforts of Vietnamese diplomatic agencies and Vietnam Airlines.

Among the total, 243 people will be picked up from Australia, while the remaining 100 will be brought home from New Zealand.

So far, about 1,800 Vietnamese citizens in Australia have registered for the flight, far higher than the capacity.

Therefore, diplomatic Vietnamese agencies are carefully considering individuals, who belong to priority cases to finalize the passenger list.

All Vietnamese citizens, who wish to be on the flight must book their tickets before 4pm on May 25th.
