This is the second time the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Ulyanovsk City has collaborated with the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association and Phan Boi Chau High School in Nghe An province to raise funds to present face masks to the Russian city.

Accordingly, nearly 6,000 medical and antibacterial face masks have been presented to Ulyanovsk City after the two donations.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh, Deputy Head of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Ulyanovsk city, said that although the number of the face masks is not large, it shows the sincere sentiments of Vietnamese people from the homeland of Uncle Ho to Russian friends in the homeland of Vladimir Lenin, the leader of the proletariat.

About 600 Vietnamese people are studying and working in Ulyanovsk city. The first Vietnamese people set foot in the city 33 years ago under labour cooperation programs and since then have formed the Vietnamese community in the city./.
