The bazaar attracted the participation of more than 80 countries, which introduced their cuisine, handicrafts, culture and tourism to international friends.

At the same time, the proceeds from the bazaar will be sent to charitable funds for children and women around the world supervised by the United Nations.

This year, the proceeds collected were about EUR250,000, which will be spent on 38 charitable projects for disabled children around the world, including in Vietnam.

Ms. Amanda Ardila, Deputy Head of UNWG, said the International Charity Bazaar is an opportunity for countries to introduce their culture as well as express their interest in humanitarian projects implemented by the UN worldwide.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Austria had a kiosk introducing the cuisine culture and images of country and people of Vietnam, which attracted a large number of international visitors.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Vu Viet Anh shared that this event is organized annually in Vienna. All the proceeds would be sent to charity funds supervised by the UN worldwide. The Vietnamese Embassy participates in this event every year. The event is very important because it attracts hundreds of thousands of people to attend, as well as an opportunity to promote the cuisine culture, tourism and image of the country and people of Vietnam. He found it to be very effective, contributing to help international friends better understand Vietnam.

“Five years ago I visited Vietnam. It's a wonderful country. I love the people there, they are very friendly. I like the culture and cuisine of Vietnam. I'm glad that the Vietnamese delegation attends this bazaar. We are also implementing projects in Vietnam. Surely I will soon return to the country," Ms. Amanda Ardila added./.
