The 10th International Friendly Cultures Fair was opened at Zocalo Square in Mexico City, Mexico, with the participation of 90 nations around the world, including Vietnam, on April 14th.

Just after the opening ceremony, Vietnam’s kiosk with photos of the land and people, unique handicraft products, long dresses and palm-leaf conical hat, attracted thousands of visitors.

Many Mexican and foreign friends praised the Vietnamese culture very nicely and gracefully. Visitors appreciated the traditional long dress of women and unique lacquer products, and they hoped the Vietnamese culture would be present more often in Mexico.

Meanwhile, Vietnam’s cuisine space with traditional dishes also attracted visitors such as spring roll and coffee.

The event will last until April 29th with hundreds of different cultural activities. However, it has welcomed some 3 million people so far.
