The ASEAN Family Festival was recently organized by Embassies of ASEAN nations in Australia at Lenox Gardens in Canberra.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy introduced some traditional dishes of the country such as spring rolls, grilled shrimp and violet glutinous rice, and folk games such as tug of war and bamboo dancing, which drew enthusiastic response from international friends.
“The ASEAN Family Festival in Australia is an activity that not only has significance for the embassies of ASEAN nations, but it is also a cultural feature and shows that ASEAN is really a common family in eyes of Australian friends,” said Mr. Geoff Tooth, Head of the US and Indo-Pacific Strategy Division under Australia’s Foreign Affairs and Trade./.
