Vietnamese culture promoted in Greece

(CPV) - Vietnamese typical handicraft products like conical hats, silk scarves, embroidered pictures, pottery and porcelain products, together with cultural publications introducing the Vietnamese country and people, fliers on its tourism and festivals as well as cuisine, were on show during a charity fair held by “The Friends of the Child” on November 24th-25th.

The fair, held annually over the past 19 years, aims to help Greek disadvantaged children.

This year's event attracted thousands of Greek and international visitors to over 60 stalls of foreign embassies, businesses and organizations.

Joining for the 5th time by the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece, the exhibits provided a unique Vietnamese space, contributing to building a hospitable and friendly image of Vietnam among Greek and international friends.

Money collected from selling the Vietnamese products were transferred to “The Friends of the Child” for assisting Greek disadvantaged children./.
