The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia organized a friendly meeting with journalists on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh congratulated journalists and reviewed the process of development and tradition of the Vietnam revolutionary press, and the activities of correspondents of the Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television, Vietnam News Agency and Nhan Dan newspaper in Russia.
He affirmed that news, articles and comments of the correspondents have positive effects, providing full and timely information about Russian situation, as well as activities of the Party, State, Embassy and overseas Vietnamese community in Russia, thus contributing to strengthening understanding of political circles, levels, sectors, and people of the two countries about the lands and people, connecting people in the Vietnamese community in Russia.
At the meeting, the delegates exchanged and shared about advantages and disadvantages, and proposed that information should be provided practically for domestic people and overseas Vietnamese.
He desired to continue to receive positive cooperation of press agencies and information pages of the overseas Vietnamese community in strengthening communication about the Vietnam - Russia relations and the embassy in the coming time.
On behalf of the journalists in Russia, Mr. Duong Tri, head of the representative office of Vietnam News Agency in Russia, thanked the embassy for its support for and cooperation with Vietnamese reporters and journalists over the past time, and committed their best efforts in the coming time./.
