The activity aims to expand the market for Vietnamese goods in southern Africa.

Right after the opening ceremony of FACIM 2019, Vietnam’s kiosk attracted a large number of visitors.

At the fair, many of Vietnam’s products such as tea, coffee, footwear, confectionery, house-ware and interior wood products, as well as products of Movitel, received strong attention of visitors from Mozambique.

At the event, many local businesses seek to promote import-export cooperation with Vietnam, and share experiences on production, processing agricultural products, consumer goods, and cooperation on construction and mining.

Vietnamese Ambassador Le Huy Hoang and officials from the Vietnamese Embassy provided useful information for businesses and the people of Mozambique, as well as introduced regulations and procedures to connect businesses of the two countries advantageously, safely and effectively.

Mr. Joao Feliciano Dichone Machava, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Tete province, Mozambique, exchanged with Ambassador Le Huy Hoang on the ability to cooperate in wood production and processing and valued agricultural product development in the country.
