Vietnamese in Berlin organize charitable activities

At the hand-over ceremony, Mayor of Berlin Michael Müller highly appreciated the charitable activities of the Vietnamese community in Germany in general and in Berlin in particular.

He also thanked the Sen Vang Charitable Association for the practical and significant gift while the COVID-19 pandemic is developing complicatedly.

For his part, Ambassador Nguyen Minh Vu said that over the past time the government, localities and organizations of Vietnam have presented face masks and other medical equipment to the people of Germany. 

In spite of meeting various difficulties in the pandemic, the Vietnamese community in Germany has not only supported each other, but also launched movements to join hands with German people to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

These movements have attracted the participant of a large number of Vietnamese across Germany. As the result, hundred thousands of face masks, medical equipment and meals have been presented to agencies, organizations, hospitals, schools and nursing homes across Germany.

The Vietnamese community in Germany has become a bridge to connect people of the two countries, as well as promoting the friendship between Vietnam and Germany./.
