Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Tran Thanh Cong highly appreciated the role of the female members of the Vietnamese community in Romania. He reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Women's Union and praised the precious virtues and good qualities of Vietnamese women in the struggle for national liberation in the past, and in the period of peace and building the country today.

This was a good opportunity to help women become more aware of their role and importance in the family and in society. He also congratulated and praised the positive contributions of women in the past time to the communal affairs.

The Ambassador hoped that in the coming time, women would continue to strive to build a strong Vietnamese community in Romania, always looking toward the homeland.
