"At the invitation of the organizing board, the federation encouraged over 40 athletes to participate in the tournament and they were very excited to go to Russia to participate in the event," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu My, Secretary General of the Ho Chi Minh city Tennis Federation.

"The purpose of the tournament is for the community to have fun, be healthy and united. It is hoped that ViTAR is a place to connect overseas Vietnamese, not only those living and studying in the Russian Federation, but also Vietnamese people throughout the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Europe as well as Vietnam. Through the event, people can see that the overseas Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation live and develop steadily. It is hoped that this year the ViTAR Incentra multi-functional sports complex will be put into operation. The complex is built on a 5,000 square meter campus, helping overseas Vietnamese people in Moscow in particular and in the Russian Federation in general, have good conditions to practice sport," said Mr. Phan Tuan Khanh, Chairman of ViTAR./.
