60-hectare field of sunflowers in bloom

From early December to the lunar New Year festival, there will be some three phases of sunflower blooms in the central province of Nghe An’s Nghia Dan district.
The district’s sunflower fields stretch over 60 hectares.
The first sunflower bloom in December
Each hectare has some 45,000 sunflower plants.
Each plant grows to a height of 1.5-1.7 metres.
The sunflower field attracts a lot of visitors.
The visitors are aware of protecting the flowers and the environment.
In January, Nghe An held the first sunflower festival in Nghia Dan district, attracting tens of thousands of tourists.
