Beauty of Nui Coc lake

Nui Coc lake, a famous tourism site in the northern province of Thai Nguyen, attracts tourists with its peaceful beauty and scenery.
Nui Coc lake, an artificial lake, which was built from 1973 to 1982, provides irrigation water for 12,000 hectares of land,
regulates flooding in the lower section of Cau river, and satisfies tourism and aquaculture demands.
The most famous tourism site in Thai Nguyen province, the lake is situated some 16 kilometres from Thai Nguyen city
and some 100 kilometres from Hanoi.
The ecological tourism lake is connected with the legend of a woman named Cong and a man named Coc, one of them
travelling far and whose tears became a river, while the other waits, and becomes a mountain.
Tourists can go by boat to visit islands, discovering a house over 200 years old, or play in a water park.
The lake is the most beautiful in autumn when it provides peaceful spaces.
