Beloved borders

A 4-day journey to the border provinces of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang left deep impressions and strong feelings on 60 writers, reporters and officers from the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education.

Than Thi Thu, Head of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, and the delegation,
burnt incense in front of Na Lua shack where Uncle Ho lived, worked and prepared for the historic general uprising in August 1945.

Under the Lung Cu flag tower, the northernmost point of the country, the delegation members showed their pride about the nation.


Besides visiting historic sites, the delegation discovered the natural landscapes and highlands people. In the picture are
 H’Mong ethnic minority children in Pho Cao commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province.

The whole village prepared for a wedding by cooking its traditional dish.

The delegation and local leaders sang to commemorate martyrs at the Vi Xuyen Martyrs’ Cemetery.
