Diverse activities are taking place during the Cambodia cultural week 2019 in Vietnam in Can Tho city and An Giang province from November 18th to 23rd.

The event is co-organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Cambodia’s Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.

50 photographs on Cambodia’s cultural heritages and promoting many popular tourist destinations such as Angkor Wat and Sambo Prei Kok as well as traditional dances of Khmer people are on display at an exhibition in Can Tho city.

In addition, artistic performances by Cambodian and Vietnamese artists were also held.

The festival provides an excellent opportunity for people from both countries to gain further insights into each nation’s unique cultural characteristics, therefore helping to preserve national culture, strengthen solidarity, and consolidate friendly relations.
