Nha Trang beach full of foreign visitors

Many foreign tourists from the Federation of Russia, the Republic of Korea and other countries rush to Khanh Hoa province’s Nha Trang Beach as the province is set to announce it is Covid-19 free.

At present, Cam Ranh International Airport welcomes 4-5 direct flights from Russia and 13-15 flights from the RoK per day, carrying thousands of tourists to Nha Trang Beach.

According to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa provincial Department of Tourism, the Cam Ranh Airport receives some 54,000 Russian visitors in January, a year-on-year increase of 10%. The figure is expected to reach 52,000 in February. “The number of tourists to Nha Trang is stable during Covid-19,” she says.

Foreign tourists rest on Nha Trang beach and are not afraid of Covid-19.

 

“We feel safe when the locality well controls the disease,” Pham Thi Huyen Trang, a tourist from Hanoi, says.

 

Vladimir, a Russian tourist, swims in the sea, enjoying the wonderful weather. “I am not worried about the virus when I am here,” he says.

 

A tourist and her son rest on the beach, saying that their first time to Nha Trang, she visited Hon Chong, Ponagar Tower and Stone Church, and enjoyed tasteful food.

 

Irina, a Russia tourist, says she and her husband will come to Lam Dong province’s Da Lat city and Binh Thuan’s Phan Thiet city in a 10-day journey, adding that they do not worry about Covid-19, and that they will return to Vietnam.

 

Hotels’ chairs are full of tourists.
