Rice production in highlands areas depends heavily on climate and weather.

There is often one rice planting season in May and June and harvest season in September and October in the northwestern region.

Rice growth rate is different in different areas as the water levels change.

In low valleys which first have water, rice is ripening beside immature rice.

In higher fields, as there is no rain, the fields are dry.
