Events and meetings belonging to the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week are taking place, attracting the participation of nearly 3,000 domestic and foreign journalists to work at the International Press Centre
Events are broadcast live via a large screen at the centre. In the picture, journalists followed Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s speech at the Vietnam Business Summit on November 7th.

Journalist Ivan Bayagau, Director of the News Production Department of the Papua New Guinea National Television, said that the International Press Centre is organized professionally, from facilities to services. “Your considerate preparations are experience for Papua New Guinea's hosting of APEC next year,” he said.

Journalist Matthew Tostevin from Reuters said that he was overwhelmed with the scale of the press centre, adding that the host of APEC 2017 had thoroughly prepared in terms of facilities for domestic and foreign journalists.

Journalist Alberto Guiterrez from Cuba’s Prensa Latina News Agency (R) appreciated Da Nang city’s ensuring of security at the International Press Centre. “All provide best condition for journalists at work, especially foreign journalists,” he said during an interview granted for Da Nang city newspaper.

As of the second day of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week, over 2,000 journalists have registered to work at the centre.

Many journalists use free 4-G simcards at the centre.
