Co To island district plants over 6,000 trees to restore environment

Quang Ninh province’s Co To island district launched a program to plant over 6,000 casuarina trees to restore the environment in Hong Van beach, Dong Tien commune, on January 17th.

This is a guideline of Co To island district after completing the removal of illegal works installed in the defence land in Hong Van beach, Dong Tien commune.

In the first phase, about 3,000 casuarina trees will be planted and the program is expected to be completed before the Lunar New Year Festival.

In the coming time, Co To island district will continue to communicate and mobilize people to raise their awareness about protecting natural resources and the environment./.
