Quang Ninh leader receives STCC Shipbuilding Company

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long stressed that with 250km of sea route, Quang Ninh province has many potential and advantages to develop seaport economy and sea and island tourism. Along with the demand of a fleet of tourism and fishing ships sustaining harsh weather, it is planning to replace wooden shell ships with tourism operation expires on Ha Long bay by steel or composite shell ships to ensure technical safety and environmental protection, fire and explosion prevention. However, most facilities newly building waterway vehicles in the locality only build wooden or steel shell ship.
