BSR workers’ gifts to people in Tan Hiep Island commune in Hoi An

Binh Son Refining And Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) has coordinated with Hoi An City Hospital to present medical equipment to the people’s military health clinic of Tan Hiep Island commune (commonly called Cu Lao Cham) in the central city of Hoi An.

The equipment includes color Doppler ultrasound produced by Hitachi (Japan); emergency suitcase produced by Sanko Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Japan) and a refrigerator for vaccine preservation. The gift is worth of nearly VND1 billion.

The people’s military health clinic of Tan Hiep island commune was inaugurated in 2004 to provide healthcare for local people.

Chairman of Tan Hiep Island commune People’s Committee thanked BSR’s workers and pledged to operate the equipment for the right purpose and effective use. He also asked clinic’s health workers to train for proficient operation.

On behalf of the BSR, Deputy Head of Maintenance Department Phan Quoc Trung said that every year, the company dedicates VND30 - VND40 billion from after-tax profit for social security programs such as health, education and natural disaster and flood support. BSR Party Committee also determined the implementation of social security programs as a key task of the company./.
