Building more bridges for children to go to school in disadvantaged areas

The National Fund for Vietnamese Children and Grab Co., Ltd. have signed a three-year memorandum of understanding to develop facilities, transportation and cultural access for children in disadvantaged areas.

The activity contributed to response to the national target program of new rural construction of the Government.

In the 2019 - 2022 period, the two sides will run a project on building bridges to help children to go to school more conveniently and safely; to living environment; and develop local social and economic security.

Starting from May 29th, with each change of GrabRewards (from 115 to 2,300 points) implemented on Grab application, users and Grab will join hands to contribute the corresponding amount of money from VND5,000 to VND100,000 to the project.

In the first year of implementation, the project aims to build five bridges in disadvantaged areas with a total investment of VND5 billion, helping to improve the attendance conditions of more than 1,000 children, especially during rainy and flood season./.
