Canon Vietnam presents 500 meal tool sets to pupils in Ha Giang province

(CPV) - With the support from the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd on August 24th, 2018 visited and presented nearly 500 meal tool sets for use at school (including tray, bowl, small bowl, spoons) for pupils in Lung Tao primary and secondary school, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province.

This is practical and helpful activity of supporting infrastructure for schools and centers to help pupils with difficult background, orphans and ethnic children, helping them with better the conditions of day-boarders and boarders at school.

Delivering a speech at handover ceremony, Mr. Niimura Minoru, General Director Canon Vietnam Co.,Ltd. said: “I know that there are many pupils of Lung Tao primary and secondary school living far away from school who need to stay at school. School becomes the place to take care of pupils all day. However, the school still lacks infrastructure. With these small gifts, Canon hopes that pupils will have good meals and contribute to ensure food hygiene when they stay at school”.

Earlier, the Japanese company presented more than 100 meal tools set for pupils in Phuong Tien primary school, Vi Xuyen district; Lac Nong secondary school, Bac Me district; Cao Ma Po day-boarding primary school, Quan Ba district; Minh Tan day-boarding primary school, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province; 1,000 meal tools set for pupils in Mu Ca primary school, Muong Te district; Muong Than high school, Than Uyen district; Tua Sin Chai primary school, Sin Ho district; Lang Mo secondary school, Sin Ho district; Nam Cha secondary school, Sin Ho district; Son Binh primary school, Tam Duong district; Son Binh secondary school, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province.

This September, an additional 700 sets will come to pupils at Nam Son kindergarten, Nam Son ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province and another 3,000 sets will be transferred to disabled and orphaned children centers in Hanoi.

Total sets is valued around VND350 million.

In the future, Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd will continue implement social activities aiming to support better study conditions for pupils - the future of the country./.
