(CPV) - As the new school year is coming very soon, Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd on August 31st visited Tran Yen I commune ethnic day-boarding primary school, in Bac Son district, Northern Lang Son province.
As the school was located in a remote border region lacking infrastructure, with poor studying equipment condition and inconvenient access, the Japanese Company decided to build and present four classrooms for school in 2009. However, the classrooms were affected by harsh weather like leaking ceiling, and broken classroom’s wall.

Sharing these challenges, on this occasion, it has handed over the project of upgrading and renovating four classrooms for a better studying environment, as well as offered 462 gift sets to local pupils.
The Company, headquartered in Thang Long Industrial Park in Hanoi's outer district of Dong Anh, hoped that with timely sponsorship, staffs and students from this ethnic day-boarding primary school will overcome the difficulties.
Since 2007, the Canon friendship school chain has sponsored 45 schools in 16 provinces (in the North and the Central) with 106 new classrooms, two teacher rooms, 14 sanitary buildings, as well as presenting cameras, printers, PCs, Canon bookshelves, and beds./.
