Central Quang Tri province enjoys Canon friendship school chain

Located in one of the most difficult communes in the district, Linh Thuong kindergarten is now home of Bru - Van Kieu ethnic minority students. School facilities were not only deficient and local people are very poor have caused a lot of barriers to luring kids going to study.

After field-trip, the sponsors have decided to assist VND450 million to support the Linh Thuong kindergarten for the construction of one spacious class of nearly 100m2, closed toilets for male and female, warehouse area for storing equipment, and 20m2 corridor for dining. Besides, the Company also presented 250 gifts including backpacks, candy and warm clothes for local pupils.

Since 2007, Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd has supported 92 primary schools nationwide via the construction of new classrooms, teacher rooms and qualified toilets and washing areas. It also equips the project beneficiaries with cameras, printers, computers, book-shelves, bunk beds and out-door toys with a view to improving teaching and studying environment for teachers and students in disadvantaged areas.
