Four students won medals at International Informatics Olympiad 2020

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, all four Vietnamese students competing at the International Informatics Olympiad 2020 won medals, including one gold medal.

Bui Hong Duc, 12th grader from High School for Gifted Students under the University of Science – Vietnam National University, Hanoi won gold medal. At the International Informatics Olympiad 2019, Duc also won gold medal.

Vu Hoang Kien, 12th grader and Le Quang Huy, 11th grader from High School for Gifted Students under the University of Science - Vietnam National University, Hanoi secured silver medals.

Tran Quang Thanh 12th grader from High School for Gifted Students under Hanoi National University of Education won bronze medal.

The 32nd International Informatics Olympiad was held online by Singapore from September 13 to 23. Vietnam team joined the network at the VNU University of Engineering and Technology.  It drew the participation of 343 students from 87 countries and territories.

With the above-mentioned achievements, Vietnamese ranked the 9th. China ranked at the first place with four gold medals./.
