On July 18th, Hanoi Library opened a book and newspaper exhibition to mark the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Fallen and Wounded Soldiers’ Day (July 27th).
More than 500 documents and books are divided into four major sections, including the Party and State with affairs related to fallen and wounded soldiers, heroes and fallen soldiers for national defence, unforgettable memories about war, Hanoi and gratitude activities.
Each book and newspaper on display helped visitors to review glorious national history, pay gratitude to heroes and fallen soldiers in the cause of national defence for independence, peace and national unification.

This is also an opportunity for local people and tourists to review the tradition of being grateful to one’s benefactor, raise up love for the nation, especially among the young generation, and contributing to national construction and defence.
The exhibition will run until July 28th./.
