Hanoi Spring Book Street 2017 reaches a turnover of over VND7 billion

The book street, along Le Thach Street and at Ly Thai To Park, aimed to celebrate the 87th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 – 2017). It served readers in Hanoi as well as tourists to the capital city on the occasion of Tet holidays.

Hanoi Department of Information and Communications organised a ceremony to close the event on February 5th.

At the street, readers could find numerous types of books, have opportunities to exchange with writers and to be entertained by calligraphy arts.

There were diverse cultural activities such as introduction of new publications, exchange with writers; introducing the art of calligraphy, coloring and painting for children and traditional art performances./.
