Ho Chi Minh city to build smart school model

An intelligent school system will be built at five high schools in Ho Chi Minh city in the 2019-2020 school year, said the city Department of Education and Training on September 23rd.

The five schools include Le Hong Phong high school for the gifted in district 5, Tran Dai Nghia high school for the gifted in district 1, Le Quy Don high school in district 3, Nguyen Hien school in district 11 and Nguyen Du high school in district 10.
The Department also instructed schools to carry out information technology (IT) tasks in the school year.
Accordingly, the education and training sector will focus on deploying smart education model, with the project of building an intelligent education operation center.
The model will ensure the principle of effective and practical application of IT and communication to modernize the public, renovate teaching and learning methods, contributing to improving the quality of education and improving the quality of human resources.
Besides, the Department also asked district-level divisions to prepare plans on online enrollment for sixth to tenth grade students in the 2020-2021 school year./.
