Ho Chi Minh city to develop science and technology park

The Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee has adopted the plan for the construction of the science and technology park on an area of 200 hectares of land, situated in the middle of the current hi-tech zone and the Vietnam National University, VNU-Ho Chi Minh city, using some VND4.263 trillion.

This will be the second science park in the city, which will be the working place for some 15,000 people.

Once completed, the park will link with the current hi-tech zone to produce information and technological, alternative and reserve energy, space technology, automation and biomedical products for the city.

It will also be a place for research and application of advanced technologies into production, in order to boost economic growth, produce high quality and competitive products, and train hi-tech human resources for Ho Chi Minh city./.
