A Korean book copyright festival is taking place at New World Saigon hotel in Ho Chi Minh city on July 24th and 25th.

The event aims to create opportunity to enhance cooperation and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and South Korea, and promote the sharing of experience in publishing and book copyrighting. It attracts 23 Korean publishers, bringing new titles in various genres such as comics, literature, culture, society, economy, text and reference books.
There is also a pavilion introducing 79 genres of books from authorized publishers that are not directly participating in the event.

Director of Ho Chi Minh city Department of Information and Communications Duong Anh Duc said that the city is the home to many publishing and book publishing companies and is the largest market for publication Vietnam.
It has innovative and effective models such as the annual international book fair, book street and models for reading culture development which attract readers./.
