Nearly 200 original artifacts and several restored objects on traditional medicine in general and in Hoi An in particular are on display at an exhibition which opened at 46 Nguyen Thai Hoc street, Hoi An city.

According to the Hoi An Cultural Heritage Management Center, the exhibition is in the framework of activities to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Hoi An liberation (March 28th), and 20 years since the recognition of Hoi An ancient town as a World Cultural Heritage (December 4th).

With six display booths, Hoi An traditional medical museum recreates the traditional medicine store space with display areas of medicine cabinets, diagnosis and waiting place of patients and customers.
There is also a space on traditional medicine in Vietnam, Quang Nam and Hoi An, and a room displaying many precious books on traditional medicine./.
