Nearly 3,000 books donated to poor children in Lao Cai

The “Book - A companion to the future” book reading festival has been held at Le Ngoc Han primary school by Lao Cai provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the provincial Library.

As part of key activities to respond the 5th Vietnam Book Day, diverse activities such as painting contest according to book and contest on telling stories in Vietnamese and English were held.
Nearly 3,000 books were collected to present poor children and libraries and bookcases in remote and border areas.
On this occasion, outstanding students and readers of the provincial library will be presented certificate of merit of director of Lao Cai provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism./.
