Traditional medicine introduced in Hanoi

Clean, safe and quality pharmaceutical products are introduced at 120 booths at the first national traditional medicine and pharmaceutical products fair 2019 which opened in Hanoi on March 20th.

The event, held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in coordination with the Ministry of Health, is considered a venue for buying traditional medicines to serve the shopping and health care needs of people in Hanoi and nearby localities.
Deputy Minister of Health Truong Quoc Cuong said that activities at the fair would contribute to raising the awareness and responsibility of consumers as well as producers for traditional medicinal and pharmaceutical products, and encourage organisations and enterprises to invest in developing the production and value chains of high quality medicinal products.

The Deputy Minister also expressed his hope that a pharmaceutical market could be established at this address after the fair. This will be the address for the supply and exchange of high quality pharmaceutical materials with clear origins.
There will be seminars, free medical examinations and counseling on traditional medicines for visitors during the fair, which will run until March 25th./.
