Vietnam Book Day 2017 in Quang Ninh

On April 18th, at Quang Ninh provincial Library in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh provincial Department of Information and Communications, coordinated with Quang Ninh provincial Department of Culture and Sports to open Vietnam Book Day 2017, under the theme “Books, knowledge – Starting success.”
The event will be open free for book lovers until April 23rd.
Diverse activities such as exchanges with speakers and authors, exhibitions, talks on reading culture and reading skills in the 21st century, drawings, and games took place during the opening ceremony.
Several businesses are providing books at discount prices.

The event in Quang Ninh province will run until May 10th at localities with a series of activities such as exhibitions, reading festivals at schools, and programmes to collect books to support remote and disadvantaged areas and bring books to patients, the elderly and disabled people.
At the opening ceremony, the organizing board received support on books, newspapers and documents from groups and individuals./.
