Vietnam ranks fourth at International Olympiad in Informatics 2019

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, all Vietnamese students who participated in the 2019 International Olympiad in Informatics won medals, including two golds, one silver and one bronze.

Vietnam bags four medals at 28th International Olympiad in Informatics

Vietnamese delegation at IOI 2019 

The 31st Olympiad took place in Baku (Azerbaijan) from August 4th to 8th with the participation of 87 countries and territories.

The gold medals belong to Trinh Huu Gia Phuc from Lam Son high school for the gifted in Thanh Hoa province, and Bui Hong Duc from the high school for the gifted under University of Science, Vietnam National University, VNU-Hanoi.

While Vu Hoang Kien and Nguyen Minh Tuan (from the high school for the gifted under University of Science, Vietnam National University, VNU-Hanoi, won the silver and bronze, respectively.

In the medal tally, Vietnam ranked fourth after China, Russia and the US./.
