According to the Ministry of Education and Training, four Vietnamese students won one silver medal and three bronze medals at the 30th International Biology Olympiad (30th IBO) that wrapped up in Hungary on July 21st.

Hoang Minh Trung, a 12th grader from the Lam Son high school for the fifted in Thanh Hoa province, won the silver.
The bronze medal winners were 12th graders Duong Tung Lam from Phan Boi Chau high school for the gifted in the central province of Nghe An, Ha Vu Huyen Linh from University of Science’s high school for the gifted under Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Hoang Thi Huyen Trang from Hung Vuong high school for the gifted in the northern province of Phu Tho.
The 30th IBO held from July 14th to 21st in Szeged City drew the participation of 74 countries and territories.
The ministry will greet and honour the team at Noi Bai International Airport on July 25th./.
