Vietnamese students win six medals at APhO 2016

The Department of Testing and Quality Assurance under the Ministry of Education and Training has announced the results of the Vietnamese delegation participating in the 17th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO 2016) held in Hong Kong from May 1st to 9th.

Accordingly, Vietnamese students won three silver and three bronze medals, and 2 certificates of APhO 2016.

Accordingly, the silver medals went to 11th grade student Nguyen The Quynh from Vo Nguyen Giap Gifted High School (Quang Binh), 12th grade student Dinh Thi Huong Thao from Le Hong Phong Gifted High School (Nam Dinh) and 12th grade student Nguyen Quang Nam from the gifted high school of the Hanoi National University of Education.

The bronze prizes belonged to 12th grade student Pham Quang Minh from Hanoi-Amsterdam Gifted High School, and two 12th grade students of Phan Ngoc Nam and Nguyen Van Quan from Le Hong Phong Gifted High School (Nam Dinh).

Two 12th grade students, Ha Anh Duc from the Gifted High School under the University of Natural Sciences of the Hanoi National University and Do Thuy Tran from Le Hong Phong Gifted High School (Nam Dinh), were awarded certificates of merit (consolation prizes).

The delegation was welcome and honoured at Noi Bai International Airport. All of them were presented awards./.
