VKEIA presents medical equipment for COVID-19 prevention and control

(CPV) - Vietnam - Korea Experts and Intellectuals Association (VKEIA) has presented 3,000 masks and 244 NanoCareVN hand sanitizers to National Hospital of Endocrinology.

Prof. Doan Nam Thai, Vice Chairman of VKEIA, said that promoting the spirit of solidarity, joining hands with the whole country to prevent and fight the COVID-19 epidemic, over the past time, VKEIA has mobilized domestic and foreign sponsors and organizations to support the necessary medical products for doctors and nurses - the frontline force in epidemic prevention.

Mr. Thai expressed the donation this time will help health workers in the National Hospital of Endocrinology have the necessary resources and limit cross-infection in the hospital in the pandemic prevention and control.

Doctor Phan Huong Duong, Deputy Director of in the National Hospital of  Endocrinology and Deputy Head of the Hospital’s COVID Prevention and Control Steering Committee, said that the hospital closely followed the pandemic situation, promptly implemented measures to better control the epidemics. In the near future, the hospital will continue strengthening the pandemics prevention and preparing for a rapidly increasing disease situation.

 Thuan Thanh War-Invalids Nursing Center, Bac Ninh province

VKEIA visited and presented 1,000 masks and 200 NanoCareVN hand sanitizers to Thuan Thanh War-Invalids Nursing Center, the northern province of Bac Ninh.

Dr. Doan Nam Thai, Vice Chairman of VKEIA, said that Bac Ninh is currently among the few provinces in the high-risk group, strictly implementing epidemic control according to the Government's Directive 16. Therefore, this gift expresses gratitude to doctors and health workers at the center for heroic martyrs, wounded, sick soldiers and people who have contributed to the revolution./.
