Writing contest on whole-hearted followers of Uncle Ho's example held

A writing contest on whole-hearted and creative followers of Uncle Ho’s teachings was launched on November 13th by Giao duc va Thoi dai (Education and Times) newspaper, in collaboration with the National Education Union of Vietnam and the Department of Political Education and Pupils’-Students’ Affairs.


The contest aims to disseminate the examples of teachers devoted to education; outstanding pupils and students who follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style; and disadvantaged pupils and students gaining excellent academic results and actively responding to the campaign on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

Vietnamese people from 15 years old are able to participate in the writing and photo forms.

Lasting until February 28th, 2018, the contest will provide two first prizes worth VND5 million each; two second prizes worth VND3 million each; four third prizes worth VND2 million each; and six consolation prizes worth VND1 million each.

Candidates can send their writings and photos to Education and Times newspaper at No. 29B Ngo Quyen street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi; or to email cuocthibaogdtd@gmail.com enclosed with their full names, gender, occupation, agencies, residence addresses and contact numbers.

A meeting to review the contest and award winners is expected to be held on March 26th, 2018./.
